In June 2023, my daughter Asal underwent a stem cell transplant using her own cells to treat autism at the Mardaleishvili Clinic.
We live in the United States and had been working on psychological rehabilitation for several years, but we didn’t see significant results. However, after the transplant, Asal has shown improvements.
She became calmer, more sociable, and now recognizes all her close relatives. She started approaching us and hugging, showing affection—before, she wouldn’t allow anyone to touch her. Before the procedure, it didn’t matter to her if a person was familiar or not.
Asal developed a sense of self-preservation; she no longer runs away, and she became afraid of heights and large dogs. She started expressing her feelings. When scolded, she gets upset and cries. Her tantrums have almost completely disappeared.
Asal made progress in her studies. She learned to read, write, and count. She became more social and began playing with other children. She fully understands spoken language and answers all questions. Asal started following tasks and instructions, she dresses herself, washes up, and brushes her teeth, and she also learned how to swim.
In July 2025, we came back for the repeat transplant at the clinic because we are very satisfied with the results after the first transplant. We are hopeful for further improvement.
July 2025.
Shakhnoza, mother of Asal.
